Since June 10, 2022, brokers are prohibited from representing both a buyer and a seller, in a single transaction involving a residential building. A single broker is no longer allowed to represent both parties in a transaction.
This means that the Realtor representing a property for sale cannot represent you if you wish to purchase that property.
In my opinion this is a great addition to the laws as you want to be sure your realtor is ONLY looking out for your best intentions and NOT the sellers.
